Spoken Word poetry is an \"ear massage\". It is about the narrative. It uses literary techniques to comment on social issues of the times. It allows you to speak your truths in a marriage of rhythm and rhyme. When you can relate to what is said, or if it touches your inner being, you snap your fingers.
